Shanco has bolstered its team with the appointment of a new assistant quantity surveyor.

Sheldon Muzvidziwa has recently graduated from the University of Salford with a quantity surveying degree. Based at Shanco’s head office in Castleford, he will be working closely with the commercial team to assist with groundworks projects across the UK, including taking measurements, liaising with suppliers, and producing valuations.

 

Speaking about his appointment, Sheldon said: “I’m really pleased to be starting my career at Shanco. It was clear from the interview stage that the team is very friendly and there is a supportive working environment.

“As an assistant quantity surveyor, I’m getting the opportunity to work with people across the business to develop my skills, including the procurement and finance teams. I’m looking forward to learning from my colleagues, building my knowledge and playing a key role in delivering Shanco’s projects.”
