Northmoor Academy Value: £800,000

 

Shanco completed all groundworks and civil engineering infrastructure for a modern and striking new modular Academy. Services included earthworks, foundation works, drainage and services installation, retaining walls and hard landscaping.

Works were divided into two phases, the first being to undertake the essential substructure foundations and drainage ready for the installation of the modular building. On completion of the modular building, Shanco then started the extensive hard landscaping works, which included the construction of an impressive timber amphitheatre with tiered seating. Shanco worked extensively with the modular contractor and the design team to provide value engineering options for the external works, and ensure the project came in on budget and to the required specification.
